 The Veteran's Memorial Dedication was on April 27, 2002

   The community of Caruthers is currently worked diligently on the Memorial Site to honor and remember all Carutherians who have served the United States of America in any branch of the military. memorial_working on irrigation pipe.jpg (34651 bytes)  The wall displays the names of everyone who has ever resided in Caruthers and has been in one of the six military branches memorial wall.jpg (23596 bytes)

   The land was donated to the Caruthers Veteran's Memorial by Stockman's Bank.  Brick trim by Beer Monuments.  Other assistance was given by the Legion of Valor Museum in Fresno.  The idea was spurred on by the Caruthers Chamber of Commerce and the following are some of the organizations who are working on the project; Caruthers Chamber of Commerce, Caruthers District Fair Association and Caruthers Lions Club.
