Commercial Exhibits are open at 10:00 am for the general public

 

Commercial Exhibitor Rules

    Payment for rental spaces are to be received no later than August 29, 2010. If this presents a problem, please contact Ellen Perez at 559-864-3417.

   If you are unable to participate, oral or written notification must be received no later than September 3, 2010, in order to obtain a refund on your rental payment. 

    Proof of insurance in the form of an insurance certificate from your carrier is required. No Exceptions. Please submit this with your signed contract and payment. Keep the yellow copy of the contract for your records.

    All booths will be inspected prior to the opening, for inappropriate items. The vendor will be asked to remove an items found, if the vendor refuses, they will not be able to participate.

    There will be no sharing of booth space or subletting, without prior consent of the fair. If in violation, the vendor could be asked to leave.

This year the fair is asking all vendors to have someone in their booth by 11:00 am, please comply.    All exhibitors must be on the fairgrounds and set up by 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 29, 2010 or they will not be allowed to set up until the following day. There will be no refund of rent for that day missed.

    Set up times for Monday and Tuesday are from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

    Both commercial buildings will have the following opening and closing times.        

Wednesday, September 29            

8:00 am to 11:00 pm

Thursday, September 30                

9:00 am to 11:30 pm

Friday, October 1                      

10:00 am to 11:30 pm

Saturday, October 2                   

10:00 am to 12:00 pm

    On Thursday, Sept. 30, the Caruthers Elementary School will bring their students for a field trip to the fair. The fair board recommends that any exhibitor worried about vandalism or theft should be present to deter any problems. The fair board is not responsible for any damages, theft or vandalism. Exhibitors are responsible for any lost, damages or stolen items pre contract. We encourage exhibitors to remove their displays on Saturday night after the fair closes. On Sunday, Oct 3th the buildings are open from 8:00 am. The Fair is not responsible for any items left unattended by exhibitors. Please read the back of your contract regarding the Fair's responsibility for exhibitor's property.

     A power limit of 1500 watts has been established for each booth. Periodic checks will be performed to determine if any exhibitor is exceeding this limit.

    Tables, chairs, will be available for rental during the fair.  If you have a need for any of these, contact  Ellen Perez, no later than September 9, 2010 Rental is on a first come fist serve basis. Tables rent for $10.00 each and chairs rent for $2.00 each.

    Any property left on the fairgrounds after Wednesday, October 6, 2010, will become the property of the Fair and will be removed.

    Due to abuse of vendor parking permits all vendors will be asked to show ID upon entry.
